A PEC registered Engineer belonging to the Siddiqui family; Jahangir Saleem Siddiqui was born in 1986 in Karachi, Pakistan. He completed his basic education in Karachi, then started his carrier as an engineer to gain technical knowledge. During this period he also obtained computer certification, like different Computer Languages, web development, Networking, Security Servers, ISA, CCNA 4.0 & 6.0, CISCO certifications, JUNIPER Security, MCSC Module, etc.During University, he participated in different Hardware and Software exhibitions, in which he got Gold Medal from IQRA University in 2008, after successfully completing Engineering degree in B.E Telecommunication with PEC registration certificate # TELE/4037, joined his own family business of Customs Clearance & Project Logistics under the name of M. Amin M. Qaseem (Pvt.) Ltd.After successfully starting his career, he got admission in MBA regular degree program in Finance & Accounting and by the Grace of God completed his 2nd degree in 2015 with a 3.8 CGPA.
The learning stage did not end here, and he went to Germany for learning a Heavy Lifting Transportation course from Gold Hofer Company in 2017. After that, Jahangir has started learning Audit techniques & Quality Awareness courses and stepped into a new field i.e. Quality Management System (QMS 9001:2015) as Team Leader, meanwhile he also attended various courses like First Aid and Fire Fighting Training. The core philosophy was that he wanted to gain firsthand experience in different working systems / organizations and how they work, which helped him to grow his own company with updated technology and a proper awareness system in which people work happily and increase work efficiency.During his University life, Jahangir has purchased a few Acers of land for agriculture and fish farming in Chuhar Jamali, Sindh. With the help of experienced farmers, he has started his own agriculture and fish farming.Being a researcher and having a heart that beats for his country and people, in 2009, Jahangir felt that the people of Chuhar Jamali have a lot of problems regarding health and sanitation, water supply, food, and education. Also, there was no such facility where religion could be practiced. Initially, he tried to solve some of these problems by himself, but as time passed he felt that the problems are increasing day by day especially in religious side, people don’t know the basics of Islam, even they don’t know how to perform rituals of the dead body,( funeral, Janaza, burial) as per Islamic guide-lines. The children did not have the basic learning institute for Islamic and general studies. So, on 14th August 2021 (2ndMoharram 1443 AH), Jahangir decided to start a madrasa along with Jamia Masjid for the people of village in which the children can learn the Quran with proper Namaz under the guidance of Dar-ul-Uloom, where the learning abilities of the students would be tested after a few months by certified Molanas of Dar-ul-Uloom.While the thought of Masjid &Madrasa was underway, some close friends & family suggested brining it under the name of a registered welfare organization, so SWF was hence born and which grew into the idea of creating a better life for the people by collecting funds and donations from different sources.
After having a meticulous look at my educational and professional background, my multitudinous and diverse scope of interest and ambitions must have been fully divulged; from technical aspects of Engineering, to business-oriented MBA & from tactics of dealing with ISO Certification, to farming and cultivating agricultural lands and fish breeding in the fields of our land in Chuhar Jamali. They’re yet another aspect of my life that revolves around the fundamentals of faith, religion & in particular, around the thought of carrying out such activities/ tasks that enable me to improve my life morally as well as spiritually so that I am not ashamed to face my Lord at the day of Judgement, at least I can try to. The rest is in the hands of Allah (SWT) Whom knows the best. After reading “Seerat-un-Nabi” (S.A.W) and having great inspiration from all the Khulfa-e-rashideen, particularly Hazrat Ali (R.A) and Hazrat Umar (R.A), one thing that I understood is that the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is the best creation of Allah (SWT). The life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is a role model for every person of this world who believes in Allah and the Day of Judgment. There are many scholars, philosophers &missionaries in the world, but none is as great as the as Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). His Shariyah is regarded as the last message of Allah and His guidance is declared enough for all until the end of this world. The Prophet (PBUH) said, “If Hazrat Musa had been alive, he had no option but to follow me”.Compassion for all mankind. We have no choice but to follow His teachings. After the Holy Prophet (PBUH), the caliphate of Islam was transferred to the four caliphs namely Hazrat Abu Bakar (R.A), Hazrat Umar (R.A), Hazrat Usman (R.A) & Hazrat Ali (R.A) respectively. These Rashidun Caliphs are like the bright stars of the sun of righteous Prophet (PBUH). Their age is the golden age of Muslims Ummah. Their magnificence is unprecedented and their efforts to spread the strengthen Islam in the world are admirable.Hazrat Umar (R.A) is one of the most powerful and influential Muslim caliphs in history. He was an expert Muslim Jurist known for his pious and just nature, which earned him the epithet “AL-FAROOQ” (“The one who distinguishes between the right and wrong”).Hazrat Ali (R.A) undertook several missions on behalf of Muhammad (PBUH); he took part in nearly all expeditions during the life of Holy Prophet (PBUH). Ali’s (R.A)’s bravery is legendary as it is said that he alone killed more than a third of the enemy in the battle of Badr.In short, these pious, righteous and noble men of Islam are the main pillars who taught us the purpose of life and ways to live and to consider life as a temporary place to stay and to work for our eternal “ The Aakhirah, “ or the life after death. They explained a common aspect of their lives, which became a turning point in my life somewhere became was that They mainly focused on life after death and consider life as a pathway that leads to Heaven or Hell according to a person’s deeds. In the past 2-3 years, my outlook on life has also changed dramatically, I have lost some close friends and relatives, many of whom they died of the deadly Covid. This fact made me realize and think that life is nothing, but a bubble of water, which is only dependent on a few breaths we take and a few beats of our hearts. No one knows what tomorrow has in store for us. All our pride, wealth, degrees, and status are worthless in the face of death. What’s more, this can only be realized after facing the loss of a close one. Therefore, to prepare for the afterlife and calm our graves, we should focus on improving the ways of life after death and ways that might lead to Jannah (In sha Allah). One of the most recognizable ways to build a house in paradise as promised by our beloved Holy Prophet (PBUH) is the construction of Masjid, and to educate the uneducated and under privileged ones with Quran and Deen is yet another way to make peace for the Aakhirah.“Only those of His servants who are endowed with knowledge truly fear Allah”All praise is due to Allah (SWT) who revealed ‘read’ as His first command, and May blessings and peace be on His noble Messenger Muhammad (PBUH), the best teacher, role model, and leader.I’ve always thought of this Ayah and it keeps on reminding me the countless blessings of Allah (SWT), that He has bestowed upon his worthless subject, who has enabled me to become a drop in the ocean of His blessed people who are serving His mankind, be it in the form of education, providing health, food, basic life necessities, or to provide a platform for their religious practices. For years, building a masjid has been somewhere in my mind for years, but it was never thought of a way in which Allah (SWT) had already planned in store for me. Yes! I strongly believe that such noble tasks are bestowed only on the chosen ones and I am immensely thankful to Almighty that He has chosen his worthless subject to serve His people. When we laid the foundation for the site reserved for the groundwork at the site preserved for construction of Masjid on our agricultural land in chauhar jamali, Sajawal district, Sindh, my biggest wish become reality.Acquisition of knowledge is a religious obligation for Muslims. We are obliged not only to acquire but also to teach and disseminate knowledge. As a country, we are still trying to absorb wisdom from the past, reflect on and develop an Islamic education system that full of hope for the future.SWF is one such place, where thanks to its visionaries, supporters and committed staff it is possible to deal with the urgency of situation to achieve goals with the help of resonating resourcefulness of the place. At SWF, we start with promises. We continue to grow, move forward, and work consistently in pursue of better and best.We cannot educate the poor and eradicate poverty all by ourselves; it is a collective effort that necessitates the nation’s contribution. Together, we can inspire and help other humanitarians quickly respond to disasters and injustices around the world, fight poverty through our Islamic values, and make a positive changes for the entire Muslim Uma.I pray that Allah will give us all the dedication, insight, and sincerity we need to assume responsibility, which is His highest form of creation.
“When a man dies, his deeds come to an end except for three things: Sadaqah Jariyah (a continuous charity), a knowledge which is beneficial, or a virtuous descendant who prays for him” [Muslim]“
Indeed, it is we Who bring the dead to life and record what they have put forth and what they left behind, and all things we have accounted for in a clear register”. [The Noble Qur’an, 36:12]
Our remaining life is very unpredictable, we don’t know how many days or hours we have, so don’t think that we will start charity work at the end of life, because we don’t know about the next breath!!! So, take it very seriously and start the work for Aakhirah or Day of Judgment from today.
